About Soundmonk Studios™
Soundmonk Studios™ is a boutique audio post-production business based in Tucson, Arizona, specializing in spoken-word cleanup and restoration.
The studio focuses on improving clarity and intelligibility in voice recordings - removing noise, reducing distractions, and preparing delivery-ready audio while preserving the natural tone and character of the original recording.
Much of today's spoken-word media is captured outside of traditional studios: remote interviews, field recordings, podcasts, documentaries, and institutional media. We work within that reality, helping creators refine and stabilize recordings so that the message remains clear, and trustworthy for listeners.
Projects commonly include podcasts, interview recordings, documentary dialogue, voiceover narration, and institutional media for universities, nonprofits, and independent filmmakers.
While Soundmonk Studios™ specializes in audio cleanup and restoration, voiceover recording support is also available through trusted partner talent when projects require narration or spoken-word production from start to finish.
We approach our work guided by restraint and careful listening-reducing what distracts while protecting the integrity of the voice itself.
Clarity. Creativity. Care.
Soundmonk Studios™ was founded by Louis Sanders, a Tucson native, audio engineer, and lifelong student of sound. Louis is a University of Arizona alumni as well as a graduate of the Conservatory of Recording Arts and Sciences. He has industry work experience from his time with SPG Studios in Burbank, CA. Fueled by a deep passion for sonics, he believes that sound isn't just a layer - it's the heartbeat of every story. His approach blends the precision of an engineer with the ear of an artist. For Louis, great audio isn't about being loud - it's about be alive.
